I am Marisa Kelly. As a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology I am proud of how far I have come in the field of design and have truly realized that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I graduated in May of 2011 with a BFA in Graphic Design as well as a minor in print and a concentration in the field of communications.
Throughout my time at RIT I was exposed to many subject areas such as Symbol & Icon Design, Information Design, Environmental Design, Interactive, Web, Typography, and Publication Design. However, I feel that my interests fall strongly in Branding and identity; I find beauty in simplicity and believe a company’s design system creates an important and lasting effect on the viewer.
I want to make an impact with my designs.
Other Interests of mine include sports and movies. I love to be outside and doing something active. I often go for long runs in my spare time since I am no longer on a sports team. I grew up doing gymnastics though I played field hockey and lacrosse throughout my high school and college years. I like to get away from the computer screen and experience the world... and often a good movie.
