a city with evidence of what was and what will never be again - absences. memories twice removed resting inside renovated and gentrified store fronts - my loneliness. the smell of fresh bread from the bakery, coffee with a friend in bickford park as the sun kisses our faces - my happiness.
sounds of the the streetcar snaking through important intersections - directions which rest in an often used filing cabinet inside my brain.
